BAREFOOT SHOES FOR WALKING OPTIONS

New to barefoot shoes. We live in Montana exactly where it may get to -twenty or decreased. Any recommendations on boots? Am I ideal in contemplating you would want the thick boot to guard from the extreme cold? Hunt for boots with a large toe box maybe?
